Saxonia is the pointed scale — the same body as Bavaria, cut to a point instead of a round bottom edge. It belongs to the restoration range made in Sighișoara, at what is still the only ceramic roof tile factory in Romania, and it exists because churches and listed buildings need a tile that matches what was on the roof before.

This model is part of the restoration range and the manufacturer does not publish a full data sheet for it. The weight shown is our estimate, taken from the same tile body, and is there so shipping can be calculated — ask us for the manufacturer's data before you specify it on a listed building.

Recommendation

Ask us for the manufacturer's data sheet before specifying this on a listed building — conservation officers will want the published figures, not ours. A scale roof takes far more labour than a large-format one: 37 pieces per square metre against ten. Order about 5% over the measured area, and more where the roof curves.
