Portugheza has the S-curve of the Mediterranean roof, in a fired ceramic made for a Romanian winter. The deep wave throws a strong shadow line, which is most of why it gets chosen — it makes a small roof look considered.

Recommendation

Check the pitch before you choose: this tile needs at least 20°, and below that no amount of underlay makes it watertight. Order about 5% over the measured area — hips, valleys and eaves all cost tiles, and a batch bought later rarely matches the first exactly. Set the batten spacing from the technical sheet, not by eye: it fixes the overlap, and the overlap is what keeps the roof dry.
