W3G is the point of this system. Most chimneys are certified either for dry operation at high temperature or for wet operation at low temperature. MULTIKERAM is certified for both: it survives a soot fire and it tolerates the condensate that a modern low-temperature boiler produces.

In practice that means the fuel decision is not locked in by the chimney. Wood now, gas in five years, pellets after that — the flue stays. That flexibility is worth more than it looks, because replacing a chimney means opening every floor it passes through.

It covers gas and oil boilers (except sealed „turbo” types, which need MULTIKERAM LAS), pellet and wood boilers, mixed burners, fireplaces and stoves. Each metre is one fireclay liner, three insulation boards and three outer blocks.

Recommendation

Sealed-combustion „turbo” and condensing boilers need a concentric air/flue system — that is MULTIKERAM LAS, not this one. Everything else, MULTIKERAM handles. Size the flue from Leier's sizing diagram using the appliance output and the useful height. If the fuel is undecided, this is the system to build: the price gap against LSK is small next to the cost of replacing a chimney that turns out to be the wrong class.
