Modern is the plain-faced half of the Leier fence range. Where Arhitektur imitates split stone, Modern is a flat, fine-grained face with crisp arrises — a fence that reads as a wall, not as masonry.

It is built exactly like the Arhitektur fence: dry-laid courses, vertical bars through the cavities, concrete fill. The difference is only what you see, which means the two ranges can be mixed in one project — a Modern field between Arhitektur columns, for instance.

Recommendation

A smooth face is less forgiving than a split one: it shows every misaligned course, so string a line and check the level at every row rather than every third. Keep the blocks clean while you fill — concrete splashed on a flat face and left to dry leaves a mark that will not wash off. Order about 5% over the measured run, for cuts at the columns and for spares.
