Short description

Short tapered kerb, 25 cm long. Four pieces per linear metre, which makes it the piece for curves and tight radii.

Full description

The short length follows a curve without cutting. Used at roundabouts, kerb returns and islands where a 50 cm kerb would have to be sawn.

Produced by Leier from vibro-pressed concrete, the same material and the same colour range as the Leier paving, so kerb and paving can be matched in one project.

Recommendation

Kerbs are laid on a concrete foundation of at least C16/20, with a rear haunch on the outer face. Leave a 3–5 mm joint between pieces and fill it with mortar. Set the kerb line and level before laying the paving, so the paved surface can be closed against a fixed edge. Order about 5% over the measured length, for cuts at corners and for spares.
