Wider than the 5 cm kerb and more stable in soft ground, without the height of a road kerb. Common around lawns and planting beds.

Produced by Leier from vibro-pressed concrete, the same material and the same colour range as the Leier paving, so kerb and paving can be matched in one project.

Recommendation

Kerbs are laid on a concrete foundation of at least C16/20, with a rear haunch on the outer face. Leave a 3–5 mm joint between pieces and fill it with mortar. Set the kerb line and level before laying the paving, so the paved surface can be closed against a fixed edge. Order about 5% over the measured length, for cuts at corners and for spares.
