Short description
Tumbled concrete paving, 40 mm thick, with seven plate sizes in one batch, in five warm shades. For terraces, courtyards and pedestrian areas.
Full description
Castrum Antik is the tumbled version of Castrum. The pavers go through a drum after pressing, which rounds the edges and roughens the surface far more than the standard antiqued finish — the result looks like paving that has been walked on for decades, not like new stone with softened corners.
Seven plate sizes come mixed in one batch, so a laid surface has no repeating grid. Laid at random, it reads as an old courtyard; laid in a repeating group, as a deliberate pattern.
40 mm only, which puts it on terraces, garden paths, squares and pedestrian areas. It is not a driveway paver — for vehicle traffic use the 60 mm Castrum.

Recommendation
Lay it at 40 mm only where nothing drives — a car on a 40 mm paver cracks it, whatever the bedding underneath. Draw the pattern before you start: with seven plate sizes, a surface laid without a plan tends to end in awkward cuts at the edges. Mix pavers from several pallets as you lay, so the shade variation spreads evenly. A tumbled surface holds dirt more readily than a smooth one; seal it if the terrace sees food and drink. Order about 5% over the measured area, for edge cuts and spares.
